This came fast even though they said my address was not correct in the system and it was, I don't think it was the sellers fault it was carriers. It delayed delivery by 3 days. It was super easy to install and everything on it was perfect! My son loved it! It was a birthday gift for him since his previous one was stolen out of his car recently. We didn't have to buy additional connectors for it either, which was great! So easy to program. My husband and I would get this same one for our cars when we are ready for a new one!The only thing it was missing from the dash holder was the slot for the airbag lights

Purchased the 4G RAM+64G ROM PX6 version to install in a 2006 Civic EX, as of this review it has been installed for 2 weeks in a car that is driven daily. It was an easy install, it boots up quickly, the sound quality is acceptable, has good functionality, and overall is a very simple way to modernize a solidly built older vehicle. Kudos to the seller for quick responses to questions. One of the best I've experienced on Amazon actually.Time to install: 4 hoursThis includes removing the panels and old radio, drilling hole in trunk lid to install backup camera along with running the wires through the car, hooking it up and cleanup.Ease of install: Beginner/IntermediateIf you're only installing the radio, they have made this plug and play and it very simple. My 16 yr old was able to install the radio himself, but when he went to close it up it was catching on a piece behind the unit that needed to be worked a bit. Also, he did not feel comfortable installing the backup cam though because of running the wiring and panel removal, or jumping the amp wire.Points of interest:1. I didn't see this in any other reviews so it might be unique to the 06 EX - but I did have to use a dremel tool to cut part of the plastic behind the unit to allow for the clearance to fit this in properly. (shown in pic)2. I believe all EXs come with Premium Sound so you will have to jump the amp to the ant wire. (shown in pic)... If you are unsure if you have premium sound, look on the right side of the existing radio and it should be there in white lettering. If you're still unsure, it takes about 2 min to remove the trim around the shifter and look down into the opening to see if there is a factory amp installed.3. To connect your phone with USB you have to use the 4 pin connector only (there is a 4 pin and 6 pin). We bough a flush mount usb port that replaced the lighter socket for a clean look.4. TPMS - The older Civics don't have TPMS so we bought a unit that plugged into the 6 pin usb connector and downloaded a TPMS app from the play store and it plays nicely with this system.5. The sound levels of the radio overall are very loud. Some units I've installed have been too quiet, not the case here.6. GPS - don't put the sensor behind the radio as it won't function well. When you take the trim off the gauges, you'll see there is a recess at the very top. Install the GPS here and run the wire to the back and then into the radio housing. There is enough clearance to the trim to be installed over it without issue. I've seen some reviews complain about the GPS, but I've had no problems. It probably won't be used often since google maps is preferred, but I was actually surprised by how well the onboard navigation works.7. Phone connection - - Wired: My son was connecting with a OnePlus that was finicky. He had to enable developer settings and then change the usb default mode to mtb. Once done it connects to the radio flawlessly every time. - BT: Bluetooth connection has proven to work without issues for both music and calls. - I haven't tried wireless connection. ZLink is by far the best I've used and I was disappointed to find it wasn't installed on this unit.8. Microphone - Its great this comes with a mic, but it does leave something to be desired. I suggest getting a $10 flush mount mic and installing it at the top behind the steering wheel.9. Airbag light - there is not a place to install it with this trim. Plug it in (so you don't get a warning light) and then push it behind the unit when you re-install everything.10. Screen: - Resolution could be better. Its a big screen that would benefit from a better resolution, but not a deal breaker by any means. - Brightness is acceptable. I have not had any visibility issues on sunny days and the brightness is good... but I wish I could make it just a little less powerful at night as its over bright. - Responsiveness is fantastic. If you think the screen is unresponsive of slow... check that you have removed the plastic wrap it is shipped with.11. Radio - the quality isn

Bought this head unit about a month ago, the first one I got was dead out of the box. I did buy the extended protection plan on it, but Amazon exchanged it, and the new unit arrived in 2 days, plugged it in and works great. I did assemble everything outside the car which took about 45 mins. GPS works great but is slow to get started, it’s problem the position of my sensor that causes the gps to run slow. I love the user interface, it’s very responsive. The Bluetooth for phone work flawlessly can stream music via Bluetooth or phone calls. It does take about 15-20seconds to start up every time u turn the key on but that’s fine with me. Overall I give it 4 out of 5 stars because of the initial one not working, if I had to purchase again I would. Thanks Amazon for having make back with the initial bad unit! God bless!
