Unbelievably good quality and full of features. Fitment and installation was a breeze. Plug and play

Everything came packaged great. instructions may have been a little hard to follow but it truly was plug and play and fairly self explanatory, tech support was very responsive and helpful with my questions. overall for the price so far it is well worth it. Only reason its not 5 is the unit itself for me is once installed does take a good bit exploring and practice to fully utilize it, its not easily readable from the start.

10/10 Happy with my purchase. I got this mainly for CarPlay being as I didn’t want a phone mount. The only slight nit pick is I have the pioneer factory system and the tuning is funky to get it to hit like the stock head unit did.

This radio is almost close to perfect, from installation to display to functionality, I couldn’t be happier! Size-wise, it is about the size of an IPad or similar device which makes the display very accessible and easy to read. The photos advertise it as being able to play a movie or TV show, so I tried it out and I was so impressed with how fast and audible it was– there was virtually no lag and the audio was lined up. I think this will be a game-changer on long car rides!Additionally, it advertises that it can connect to wifi applications, and it checks out. There were no connectivity issues at all and I was so happy that it stayed connected even after turning the car on and off a few times.Keep in mind that this is a big CarPlay system and it is suited for cars with that amount of space. I think that it is perfect in my midsize SUV, but I can see where it would be overwhelming in a smaller car. Overall, I think this is a great device and has all the bells and whistles for a high-grade driving experience!

I have had this for about 2 weeks. The main thing I don’t like and did know in advance was the size of radio or fit. I really wanted a flush look for the replacement but the radio itself seemed to be the most economical and best rated for me. Because I made a video of install(adding soon) it took me a bit longer than it should have but it’s really straightforward( I watched the video on another review as the directions are minimal). The sound is great, much better than stock radio. CarPlay is awesome to have, everything it says you get. Only other concern & I do have to email company about is that every now and again the top of the screen has a black bar all the way across, it does display time, wifi and that stuff but covers things mike back arrow when using Spotify(in the above pic. It would cover favorites as an example). The company replied to a question I had prior to purchase in a timely fashion and from other reviews this seems to be the case overall. When I add install video I will add any additional comments that may seem relevant

This was a huge upgrade for my 2010 Jeep Wrangler Sport. I have a 4 door with 3 row seating nd seeing out the back window is difficult. The extra large spare tire made the camera hookup a big upgrade. It does work with a standard rear camera. The subwoofer under the front passenger seat was able to be hooked up to this unit too. The large screen is nice and was a perfect fir in the dash. I did Velcro the edges for the smoothest fit. The side panel does Not light up. But, I can always find the power on switch so that is a no issue for me. Works great and had this all installed. Installation fees can be a tad high unless you know someone. Overall, Very very pleased with this unit.Trust you found this review honest and helpful:-)

This thing is like having a whole computer built into your jeep. The screen is massive and floats outside the frame so it has a really clean look. Once I got it all hooked up it was able to download all my apps quickly and didn’t use up all the storage. Install is pretty standard for double din radios so all you need is to wire it up and pop it in. Got the steering wheel controls, CarPlay and all that working easily as well. Overall super happy with this radio

The radio looks like factory install. Having a 16-band equalizer is great, used it to compensate for hearing loss now music sounds like it should. Placed some foam in between the mounting clips to expand the clips to hold radio firmly in place during off roading.

Update: Previously I thought something was wrong with the stereo because it kept turning off at random times. Turned out my previous 2015 Jeep owner had rigged the radio fuse to support massive speakers. So the issue would have persisted on a stock radio as well. Once we replaced the fuse the stereo was perfect.The install is easy, had to cut the mount a little so the dashboard could flush. It comes off easily though, so if you’re a jeeper and you hit a big bump it can pop right out, i just pop it back in lol

 This is the 1 week review and have no reason NOT to give this purchase 5 stars so far.At this point I am reviewing the look and feel of the hardware along with vendor customer support and general install. Additionally, we are providing a detailed instruction video that shows you step by step what you need to do to install this radio in a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Hard Rock Special Edition. Shortly after this install, we installed a second, identical radio in a 2012 Wrangler Unlimited Sport which went so fast that prepping the tools and cleanup took longer than the actual install. Maybe 15 minutes on the second one?The radio comes well packaged in foam inside a snug box, inside a shipping box inside a waterproof wrap. Additionally, the kit comes with all components needed to install in my specific Jeep. Honestly, nothing extra to buy. We did install a reverse/backup camera with the radio but have decided to make a second video of that install.The radio itself reminds me of an Android tablet in look as well as functionality. I don't want to retread wheels here but in the product write up you will find a list of functions this radio is capable of performing and I can tell you every function described, works as described so no need to be redundant and list everything over again.As you see in the video, the install went smooth and more importantly than just being smooth the install was a true plug and play. We had to make one very minor adjustment to a hole on the mounting kit to ensure the dash/radio bezel would pop back in smoothly. Simply took a rat tail file and opened the diameter of a plastic hole with just a few strokes. Note the video for specifics.At this point in time I am giving this unit 5 stars for the following main reasons.1. Tons of functionality2. Flawless Apple Car Play and Android Auto. That said, the built in functionality of this radio really rivals anything that Android Auto orApple Car Play are providing so it's really not unlike having a tablet integrated into your car stereo system.3. All parts needed for the install are included in the kit. No guesswork.4. Audio controls on the steering wheel are retained.5. Ease of install.I'm reluctant to talk about cons at this stage but if I could change some things I would ask Awesafe to provide a better Quick Install sheet. The problem I have with mentioning it is simply the radio is so easy to connect and install, you almost don't need instructions beyond what they provide. However, what they provide is a bit incomplete, especially when considering the steering wheel control connection. If you follow the instructions they provide you will get the radio installed but you can easily miss connecting the steering wheel control connector because its not pictured in the schematic. Never fear, ElRoasto has provided you the appropriate revised instruction sheet to accommodate. Just watch for it in the video.The other issue I have is one of design as it relates to the clip in 2-piece mounting bracket. Though I haven't experienced an issue yet, I can see at some point with some serious off-roading as we tend to do in our Jeeps, the bracket may rattle out of the dash. Just seems to me like the installation would be better served with a little tighter fit.The last issue I have is with the owners manual. The text is so small i simply cant read it, even with reading glasses and can't find a copy online. That said, the radio does come with an electronic manual that you can read directly on the radio which seems to contain much of what the index holds in the owners manual so if you need operational help, I recommend you save your eyes some strain and consult the imbedded version on the radio.The best thing about this radio is simply the functionality to price ratio.The most surprising aspect of this purchase is the very excellent customer support being provided by Awesafe. The touch screen, video and sound work great. The system matched up with 2015 Wrangler Sterling controls perfectly. Back camera system and navigation system work well. My only issue was, I need more instructions to install the system. Sue with Awesafe helped me figure it out, but the diagram I have added would have been helpful upon delivery. That way I would not have needed extra help from Sue.

Looks really nice! Easy installation with a couple modifications to the mount. The passenger side of the screen mount would not allow the dash to clip back in perfectly. Had to cut up the hole on the mount to make it bigger and the dash clipped back in. Screen works pretty well so far. Quality is nice too. Installed in a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sahara.

Bought a different,defective radio from awesafe and they were great. ( refunded my money and offered me this one at a discounted price, I installed it and had a few installation problems which they almost immediately answered me back and helped out. Customer service was great!

Super easy installation, fast download applications, video quality and audio quality are very good. Very good radio at a good price
